Photo Frame Maker

Upload a frame for your event, campaign or brand and get a link to share. Anyone who opens it can add their photo, adjust it and download a picture ready for their profile. Free, with no sign-up.

Only the frames you publish are stored. People’s photos never leave their device.

1. Upload your frame

2. Publish and share

After that, the link stops working and the frame is deleted. Photos people already downloaded are theirs to keep.

Upload a frame first.

By publishing, you confirm you have the right to use the frame’s artwork. Frames that break the law or others’ rights are removed.

How to make a frame that works well

  • Use a PNG with a transparent area. The photo shows through wherever the frame is see-through. JPG files can’t be transparent, so export from Canva, Photoshop or Figma as PNG.
  • Make it square, 1080 × 1080 pixels. That’s the size Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp use for profile pictures and posts. Other shapes work too; the picture comes out the same shape as your frame.
  • Keep text away from the edges. Profile pictures are often shown as a circle, which cuts off the corners.
  • Leave a big open space. Faces need room. A border or a banner along the bottom works better than artwork across the middle.

Sharing your frame

Once published, your frame gets its own short link. Post it on Facebook, send it on WhatsApp or print it as a QR code with our QR code generator. The link preview shows your frame, and everyone who opens it can make their picture straight away, on any phone or computer, without installing anything.

Frequently asked
questions

Is it free?

Yes. Publishing frames and making photos with them is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.

Are people’s photos uploaded?

No. When someone adds their photo to your frame, it is combined with the frame in their own browser and downloaded straight to their device. Only the frame you publish is stored on our server.

What file should my frame be?

A PNG with a transparent area where the photo should show. 1080 × 1080 pixels works best for profile pictures. Frames larger than 2048 pixels are scaled down when you publish.

Does it work in the Facebook app?

Yes. If the download doesn’t start inside the Facebook or Messenger app, people can press and hold the finished picture to save it, or open the page in their browser from the ⋯ menu.

Can I see how many people used my frame?

Each frame page shows how many photos have been made with it once a few people have used it.

How long does a frame stay up?

You choose when you publish: 1 week, 1 month or 3 months. After that, the link stops working and the frame is deleted from our server. Photos people already made are theirs to keep. To run a longer campaign, publish the frame again and share the new link.

How do I delete a frame?

Frames you publish are listed under “Your frames” on this page, in the same browser, with a delete button. If you’ve lost access, contact us with the frame link and we’ll remove it.
